Flexible Boarding Options
We understand that every family has different needs. That is why Frewen College offers flexible boarding options designed to support modern family life.
Our flexi-boarding programme allows students to stay for a few nights each week, on a temporary basis, or for extended periods when required. This option is particularly valuable for families facing long journeys to school, busy work commitments or those wishing to gradually introduce their child to boarding.
Flexi boarding can help students:
- Reduce lengthy daily travel times
- Develop independence gradually
- Build confidence in a supported environment
- Strengthen friendships and social skills
- Experience boarding before committing to full-time boarding
Many students choose to board for one or two nights each week, allowing them to enjoy the benefits of boarding while maintaining flexibility for family life.
International Families
Frewen College welcomes international families seeking a specialist boarding school in the UK for children with dyslexia. Our experienced team works closely with families from around the world to ensure students settle successfully into boarding life and the wider school community.
Our boarding community celebrates the diverse cultures represented within the school. Throughout the year, we regularly host themed suppers and cultural evenings inspired by the nationalities of our students, featuring traditional dishes and favourite foods from around the world. These occasions give all boarders the opportunity to experience different cultures, share traditions and learn from one another, while helping international students feel more connected to home and valued as part of the Frewen family.
