Frewen's School Reunion -Fundraiser

We regret to annouce that this lovely event has now had to be postponed due to Covid 19 and will be rescheduled for the summer of 2021. We are sorry for any disappointment.

Help us to celebrate 110 years of education at Frewen College, formally known as Brickwall House School and Down House School, by coming along to what promises to be a fantastic school reunion event on Friday 3rd July 2020.

We would like to invite all former pupils of Frewen College and Brickwall House School to attend a school reunion next year, to be held here at Frewen.  This special day will not only provide former pupils with a very memorable day spent amongst old friends from their childhood but a chance to revisit their old school, meet staff (some old some new), and step back into our wonderful 17th century building and see your old classrooms and, for some, your old bedrooms! We also hope that holding the event will help us to raise lots of money towards outdoor adventure equipment for our current students.

Frewen's School Reunion Itinerary:

10.30am - Tea and coffee in the drawing room and gardens.

11.00am - Principal’s Welcome

11.15am - Tour of the school - see how your old classrooms have changed.

12.00pm - Tour of boarding – Can you remember where your old room was amidst our narrow corridors and winding staircases?

12.30pm - Traditional school lunch with some of those classic dishes you remember from your childhood.

1.30pm - A talk by Steve and Mary Squires, who taught between 1985 and 2012 and clocked up 43 years of teaching at Frewen between them!

2.00pm - A guided walk in the school park where you can reminisce about your adventures or relax in our formal gardens with tea and coffee served in the Drawing Room.

4.00 - Finish

There will also be a display of the history of the school, along with photographs from the different decades.
