We are seeking a dynamic, committed and caring person to join our residential boarding community in September 2018 as a Housemaster in boys’ boarding.  We are a  co-educational day and boarding school specialising in dyslexia (and associated difficulties such as dyspraxia etc), with around 30 boarders (weekly and flexi).

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach a reduced timetable if suitably qualified and experienced, although a teaching qualification is not essential for the Housemaster role.

Reporting to the Head of Boarding, the ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the further development of our inclusive, caring and vibrant house community, and experience of working with and inspiring children in a similar environment is essential.

This is a full-time position,  with year-round accommodation provided.

Further duties may be available for a spouse / partner, subject to suitability.

Music Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic teacher of Music, to teach from Year 7 to GCSE.  This role is suitable for an NQT or experienced teacher, and is available for a start in September 2018.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and a commitment to ensure that every student achieves the best outcomes.  The role is offered on a part-time basis (approximately 0.6 FTE) plus the opportunity to undertake peripatetic tuition alongside teaching.  A full-time appointment may be possible for candidates who can offer a second subject, or combined with some boarding duties.
